MOZZARELLA MACARONI | |
1 medium head cabbage 1 lb. ziti macaroni 1 stick butter (butter) 1/4 to 1/2 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese salt and pepper Cut cabbage head in half and remove core. Cut cabbage halves into pieces and parboil until about half done. Add macaroni and cook to desired tenderness. Drain and add butter, cheeses (I use half of each kind) and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and serve. Variations: Add chopped pieces of ham, kielbasa or cooked chicken. |
