FRENCH SILK CHOCOLATE PIE | |
8 inch baked pastry shell 1/2 c. butter 3/4 c. sugar 2 sq. (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled 1 tsp. vanilla extract 2 eggs, unbeaten Cream butter in mixing bowl at low speed of mixer. Gradually add sugar, creaming well. Blend in chocolate and vanilla extract. Add eggs, with mixer at medium speed, one at a time, beating 3 to 5 minutes after each. Spoon into baked pastry shell. Chill 2 hours. Serve with whipped cream. Shaved chocolate may top the whipped cream, if desired. |
