GERMAN CUPCAKES 
1 (18.25 oz.) German chocolate cake mix
8 oz. cream cheese
3/4 c. coconut
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 egg
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. evaporated milk

Make cake as directed; set aside unbaked. Soften cheese, stir in egg. Add the rest of the ingredients. Fill cupcake pans that are greased and floured, or paper-lined pans 1/2 full of cake mix. Top with 1 tablespoon of the cheese mix in the middle.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Bake 25 minutes. Makes about 28 cupcakes. Can sprinkle chopped nuts over cheese filling.
