CHOCOLATE BANANA CUPCAKES 
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. mashed bananas (2 or 3)
2 1/4 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. sour milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
2 eggs

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Stir in banana pulp. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour milk. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake in cupcake pans at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Yield: 1 1/2 dozen.
