CHOCOLATE CHIP CUPCAKES 
2/3 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs, unbeaten
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
1/2 c. walnuts
1 c. chocolate chips
2 c. flour

Mix butter, sugar, eggs, baking powder, salt, milk, vanilla and almonds at medium speed until mixed. Add nuts, chocolate chips and flour. Put in cupcake papers in muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Made these tonight & they are super yummy! The almond extract really makes these special. I don't like nuts in my cake, so I left out the walnuts & added a little extra chocolate chips. The only reason this recipe didn't get 5 stars is because the cook time was off. Mine cupcakes came out a little extra done. Either the temp needs to be reduced to 375°F or check them at 15 minutes. All ovens are different, so be careful. Other then that these are great! My husband & I each ate 2 instantly! Definitely a keeper for us!
