DILL PICKLES 
Cucumbers
Garlic
Dill
Hot peppers
1 qt. vinegar
2 qt. water
1 c. pickling salt

Place in each sterilized jar: cucumbers, 1 clove garlic, 1 bunch dill or 1 teaspoon dill seed and 1 hot pepper if desired. Bring pickling mixture to boil, pour over cucumbers and seal. They will seal better if jar lids are heated.
