GRANDMA'S FRUIT CRESCENTS 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 lb. cottage cheese (sm. curd)
2 c. sifted flour

Cream butter and cottage cheese until creamy. Add flour and mix well. Separate dough into 4 balls refrigerate overnight, wrapped in waxed paper.

Roll out balls into 12 inch pie and cut into 8-12 triangles, place 1/2 teaspoon of your favorite fruit preserve at wide end and roll into crescents. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Frost with confectioners' sugar moistened with milk and almond extract.
