BUFFALO CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. shortening
1 box brown sugar
2 c. oatmeal
1 (16 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. plain flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. coconut
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. Rice Krispies

Cream butter and shortening; add brown sugar, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Sift and add flour, baking powder and soda; add oatmeal, chocolate chips, pecans, Rice Krispies and coconut. Place by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet; or to make large cookies use 1/4 cup measuring cup or use ice cream scoop. Makes 6 per cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes; let cool 5 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
