COOKIE JAR NUT COOKIES | |
1 cup butter, softened 2 cups packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 cup chopped walnuts In a mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in milk and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and nutmeg; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in walnuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.
