MOM'S POTATO SCONES 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. mashed potato
2/3 c. milk
2 eggs

Sift dry ingredients. Work in shortening and potatoes. Add milk and eggs. Roll out. Cut with biscuit cutter. Bake on hot griddle.
