MOLASSES CRUMB PIE 
3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. molasses
3 (8 inch) pie shells, baked

Combine flour, sugar and butter until crumbly, reserving 1 cup for topping. Stir soda into 1 cup hot water then add molasses and stir until mixture foams. Pour into remaining flour mixture, mix well then pour filling into pie shells. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 8 minutes. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over the tops and bake another 17 minutes.
