EASY ROCKY ROAD 
2 c. (12 oz.) pkg. semi sweet chocolate chips
1/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. shortening
5 c. (10 1/2 oz. bag) miniature marshmallows
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Place chocolate chips, butter and shortening in large micro-proof bowl. Microwave on medium (1/2 power) for 5 to 7 minutes or until chips are softened and mixture is melted and smooth when stirred. Add marshmallows and nuts; blend well. Spread evenly into buttered 8-inch square pan. Cover; chill until firm. Cut into 2-inch squares. 16 squares.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
