WALNUT PIE 
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 1/4 c. light corn syrup
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
1 c. walnut halves & lg. pieces

In saucepan, mix brown sugar and flour; then corn syrup, butter and salt. Heat just until butter melts. Beat eggs with vanilla. Stir in sugar mixture. Turn into pie shell. Sprinkle with walnuts. Bake below oven center at 375 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until filling is set in center. Cool! Makes 1 (9 inch) pie.
