CLASSIC WALNUT PIE | |
3 eggs, lightly beaten 1 c. sugar 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1 c. Karo light or dark corn syrup 2 tbsp. butter, melted 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry pie shell 1 1/2 c. lg. pieces walnuts Heat oven to 400 degrees. Combine eggs, sugar, flour, corn syrup, butter, and vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Arrange walnuts on top. Bake in lower third of oven at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees. Bake 35 to 45 minutes until center appears set. Cool completely. 8 servings. |
