HARVEST TABLE APPLE PIE 
2 all ready pie crusts
6 med. apples, peeled, cored, thinly sliced
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1/3 c. Karo blue label syrup

TOPPING:

1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. Karo blue label syrup
2 tbsp. softened butter
1/4 c. chopped walnuts

Fit bottom crust into 9 inch pie pan. Fill with sliced apples. Combine cornstarch, cinnamon, salt, sugar, melted butter, and Karo syrup; pour over apples. Cover with top crust.

Bake in 425 degree oven 45 minutes, or until crust is browned and apples are tender. Remove from oven.

Combine topping ingredients; spread over top of pie. Return to oven for 10 minutes, or until topping is bubbly. NOTE: Put this on a dripping pan when baking the topping, it runs!
