HARVEST TIME APPLE CRISP 
6-8 cored, peeled apples, sliced very thin
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. corn syrup
2/3 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter

Arrange apples in greased shallow baking dish about 9 x 9 x 2 inches. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Pour lemon juice and corn syrup over apples.

Combine sugar, flour, salt and cut in butter until mixture is consistency of coarse corn meal. Top apples with this mixture. Bake, uncovered in moderate oven at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until apples are very tender.
