FALL-A-PART TENDER SLOW-ROAST
PORK

3 to 4 lb. pork butt
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. apple juice

Preheat oven to 400°F; reduce to 200°F for 4 hours or slow cook in crock-pot 8 hours. Place pork in pot with lid. Sprinkle pork heavily with Worcestershire sauce on both sides. Take handful of brown sugar and rub all over meat. It will be crusty. Pour apple juice in the pan, not over the meat. Cover and place pot in the oven. Turn the heat down to 200°F and cook 4 hours, until meat literally falls apart when you try to lift it with a fork. Break meat apart and push it down into the drippings. Sprinkle with salt. Salt cannot be omitted; it brings out the meat flavors. Serve hot or at room temperature. Excellent with potato salad and baked beans.
