TEXAS HASH 
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
1/2 med. onion
1/3 lg. green pepper
1/3 lg. red pepper
1 clove garlic
2 sm. cans tomatoes
1/3 c. long grain rice
1/2 tsp. chili powder
Salt
Pepper

Chop onion and peppers and grate the garlic. Fry these ingredients with the hamburger. Drain off the grease. Add the cans of tomatoes and the rice. Season with chili powder, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for about 1 hour or until rice is cooked.
