FRENCH BREAD 
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 tbsp. honey
1/2 tbsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. dry yeast
4 c. flour (approx.)

Combine water, salt, honey and yeast in bowl and stir. Let sit 5 to 10 minutes until yeast is dissolved and bubbling. Add flour until dough no longer sticks to bowl. Turn dough out. Shape into 2 or 3 long loaves. Place in well greased pan, cover with towel, sit 10 minutes. Make 3 slashes, brush with butter. Bake 20 minutes at 450 degrees.

To freeze, initially bake 15 minutes and freeze. To reheat, butter and bake for 10 minutes.
