PUMPKIN SURPRISE 
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 qt. vanilla ice cream (soft)
1 c. pumpkin
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped nuts
16 gingersnaps

Combine all but gingersnaps; blend well. Alternate layer of crumbs and ice cream and freeze.
