CLASSIC WALNUT PIE | |
3 eggs, lightly beaten 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1 c. Karo syrup 1 1/2 c. lg. walnuts 1 c. sugar 2 tbsp. butter, melted 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry pie shell Heat oven to 400 degrees. Combine eggs, sugar, flour, corn syrup, butter and vanilla; blend well. Pour into an unbaked pie shell; arrange walnuts on top. Bake in oven at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 300 degrees, bake an additional 35 to 45 minutes or until center appears set. Cool completely. |
