BLACK WALNUT PIE 
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. broken walnuts
1 unbaked pie shell

Beat eggs until light (about 2 minutes). Stir in the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Pour into unbaked pie crust. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes. Cool. Top with meringue, brown. Or may top with whipped topping. Sprinkle with a few black walnut meats.
