STONED GROUND SOUTHERN CORNBREAD 
2 c. cornmeal
1/2 to 1 c. milk
3 tbsp. cooking oil or shortening
1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
2-3 eggs
1 tsp. salt

Beat eggs until light; add milk. Mix baking powder, salt, cornmeal, flour, and mix together and add eggs and milk with cornmeal. Blend eggs and milk with cornmeal, stirring until smooth. Bake in greased muffin pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
