HARVEST LOAF CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. canned pumpkin
3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits
1 c. finely chopped walnuts, divided

Loaf: Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Beat well. Combine flour, soda, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg. Add to creamed mixture alternately with pumpkin. Fold in chocolate bits and 3/4 cup walnuts. Grease bottom of 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Turn batter into pan and sprinkle with remaining walnuts. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 5 minutes or until loaf tests done. Cool.

GLAZE:

1/2 c. sifted 4X sugar
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. milk
