HARVEST LOAF CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. pumpkin
1 3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. chocolate chips

Cream butter and gradually add sugar. Blend in eggs. Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl. At low speed, add pumpkin alternating with dry ingredients ending with dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.

Turn into greased and floured 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 65-75 minutes. Cool and drizzle with glaze. Let stand at least 6 hours.

SPICE GLAZE:

1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cinnamon

Blend in 1-2 tablespoons of cream until glaze consistency.
