CHEWY ORANGE SLICE BARS 
4 eggs, well beaten
18 lg. or 24 sm. candy orange slices (16 oz.), cut into sm. pieces
2 1/2 c. brown sugar (1 box)
2 c. flour, sifted
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. salt

Beat eggs to a froth. Add brown sugar and sifted flour gradually. Add nuts and candy last. Pour into greased and floured 16 x 12 x 1 inch pan. Bake 30 minutes in 350 degree preheated oven. Cut into squares or bars and dip into powdered sugar while still hot. Makes about 45 pieces. Best on the same day they are baked.
