BUTTER TARTS 
pre-made pastry dough
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) softened butter
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 egg yolks, separated
1 cup corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
2 egg whites

Line small tart pans with pastry. Sprinkle raisins in bottom. Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg yolks, corn syrup, vanilla and salt. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture. Spoon into tart pans, filling 3/4 full.

Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes. Place rack below center of oven.

Makes 24 tarts.
