BOURBON BALLS 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 tbsp. corn syrup
1/2 c. bourbon (rum or brandy)
2 1/2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. finely chopped nuts

Melt chips in top of double boiler, remove from heat and add corn syrup and bourbon. Combine vanilla wafers, confectioners' sugar and nuts. Add chocolate; mix well. Set aside 30 minutes. Form mix in 1 inch balls, roll in sugar. Store in covered container several days before serving.
