KENTUCKY - BOURBON BALLS | |
1/2 c. butter, softened 1 lb. powdered sugar, sifted 1/4 c. bourbon 1 c. chopped pecans 4 (1 oz.) sq. semi-sweet chocolate 4 (1 oz.) bites sweet chocolate Cream butter; gradually add sugar. Beat well with electric mixer. Stir in bourbon. Knead until mixture is blended. Knead in pans. Refrigerate 1-2 hours. Shape into 1 inch balls. Chill at least 8 hours. Place all chocolate in top of a double boiler, bring water to boil. Reduce heat to low; cook until chocolate melts. Dip each ball. Cool. Refrigerate. 4 dozen. |
