BOURBON BALLS 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. bourbon whiskey
9 oz. vanilla cookies, crushed or blended
1 c. walnuts, finely chopped
Confectioners' sugar

Melt the chocolate bits in the top of a double boiler. Add the sugar and corn syrup and remove from heat. Blend in the cinnamon, bourbon, cookie crumbs and nuts.

Mix well and shape into 1" balls. Roll in confectioners' sugar and store in an air tight container for a week before using. Yield: 4 dozen.
