BANANA CAKE 
1/4 lb. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
2 mashed bananas
6 tbsp. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3 stiffly beaten egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar. Add well-beaten egg yolks. Mix well. Add bananas, mix again. Add sour cream and flour sifted with baking soda and baking powder. Add salt and vanilla and last fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in a well- greased loaf pan for 30 minutes or until done. When cool, ice with your favorite icing or top with whipped cream.
