KID'S LOVE IT CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. oil
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
Water
1 (16 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce (optional with mushrooms)
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 (8 oz.) shell macaroni, cooked
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. shredded American cheese
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1/4 c. salad oil

Brown beef, garlic and onion in oil. Cook spinach according to directions. Drain, reserving liquid. Add enough water to make 1 cup. Combine liquid with spaghetti and tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt and pepper. Stir into meat mixture and simmer 10 minutes.

Combine spinach with macaroni, cheese, bread crumbs, eggs and oil. Spread in 13 x 9 inch pan. Top with meat mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Before serving let casserole set for 10 minutes to prevent cheese from being stringy. This can be made a couple of days ahead and kept in refrigerator. Serves 8-10.
