SUGARED PECANS 
1/2 c. butter
4 c. pecans
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Melt butter and add nuts. Stir to coat. Beat egg whites with salt. Slowly add sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Whip until stiff. Fold into cooled nuts. Spread on long cookie sheet.

Bake at 300°F for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
