BEAN SOUP 
1 c. pinto beans
1 c. navy beans
1 c. lg. lima beans
1 c. great northern beans
Ham hock
Ham bone
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped carrots
1 lg. can tomatoes
1 green pepper
Parsley to taste
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp. oregano
1 tbsp. basil
Salt and pepper to taste (to ham hock and water)

Soak beans 2 hours. Cover ham hock and ham bone (use about 4 ham hocks if you don't have ham bone) in water and simmer for 1/2 hour. Add beans, celery, onions, carrots, tomatoes, green pepper, parsley, garlic, oregano, and basil. Cook until beans are done.
