I've been looking for this for 10 years, lost it in a move. This was given to me about 35 years ago. Its a tried and true family favorite for the holidays/special occasions. We make a double batch and keep it in the freezer till ready to serve. Just cut and serve. They are so pretty and so yummy!

Would love to try this, but a little worried about the raw egg in it. Any suggestions?

You could use store-bought pasteurized eggs (in a carton) or pasteurize your own: Pasteurization of eggs
