CLAM CAKES 
1 pt. clams
2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk (about)

Combine sifted flour, baking powder and salt together. Combine eggs and clams, then add to flour with enough milk to make a thick batter. Fry in deep fat.
