TAMALE PIE 
1/4 c. olive oil or Saffola
1 med. onion, chopped
1 1/2 lbs. ground round
1 tsp. oregano
3 tsp. chili powder
3 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper
4 dashes Tabasco
1 lg. can whole tomatoes
1 med. can whole creamed corn
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can pitted ripe olives
1 c. milk
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. grated sharp cheese

Brown meat with onion and oil. Add seasonings, tomatoes and creamed corn. Simmer for 15 minutes. Mix milk and cornmeal and add to mixture. Cook covered for 15 minutes more. Add whole kernel corn and olives. Pour into casserole, spread cheese on top. Cover and cook at 325 degrees for 1 hour. (It gets better as times goes by. Make the day before.) Serves 6 to 8.
