LAUA SPARE RIBS 
3 lb. spare ribs
Water
1/4 c. cider vinegar
6 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. ketchup
Few drops of hot sauce or cayenne pepper

Cut spare ribs into serving size parts. Drop into boiling water. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup liquid. Place into 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Combine vinegar, sugar, ketchup, 1/2 cup cooking liquid and pepper. Pour over ribs. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes basting every 15 minutes. Ribs are done when browned and glazed. Serves 4-6.
