POTATO & GREEN PEA CASSEROLE 
2 cans sm. whole potatoes
2 pkg. frozen green peas (10 oz.)
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
3 c. milk
4 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
3/4 c. grated cheddar cheese
Paprika

Cook peas separately according to package directions; drain peas and potatoes thoroughly. Mix together in buttered baking dish.

In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt 1/3 cup butter. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually add milk stirring constantly until boiling and thickened. Pour over potatoes and peas. Mix lightly.

Crumb mixture: Melt 4 tablespoons butter; mix in crumbs and cheese. Spoon over vegetables. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes until bubbly hot.
