1 lb. ground beef
1/4 lb. bulk sausage
1 sm. onion chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
1 (16 oz.) can undrained whole tomatoes
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 can (16 oz.) whole kernel corn drained
1 can olives, pitted
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Brown beef and sausage onion and garlic drain. Stir in salt, chili powder, tomatoes, corn and olives. Heat to boiling. Pour into ungreased square baking dish 8 x 8 x 2 dish or round baking dish. Mix cornmeal, milk and eggs pour over meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake uncovered until golden brown 40 to 50 minutes.

Serves 6 to 8.
