BEER POT ROAST 
1/2 c. butter
1 onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cloves garlic, diced
4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1 (2 to 3 lb.) chuck roast
1 (12 oz.) can beer
4 oz. coco-cola
1 (16 oz.) can whole new potatoes
1 (16 oz.) can baby carrots

Melt butter in 5 to 8 quart heavy pot over medium heat. Add onions and seasoning saute until onions are soft.

Place roast in pot and brown lightly on both sides. Increase heat to high add beer and coke bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes for each pound of meat. Add potatoes and carrots. Cook for 15 minutes over medium heat.
