LEEK AND MUSHROOM SOUP 
1 bunch of leeks
1 lb. fresh mushrooms
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. saffron
1-2 c. chicken broth
1/8 tsp. ginger
1/8 tsp. allspice
1/8 tsp. white pepper
1/8 tsp. cardamom

Chop leeks and mushrooms. Place in chicken broth and spices. Simmer until tender.
