ITALIAN MEATBALLS AND SPAGHETTI 
2-3 garlic cloves
2 lb. hamburger
1 c. cracker crumbs
1 egg
1 tsp. oregano
1 lg. can whole tomato
3 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
Salt and pepper
1 med. green pepper

MEATBALLS: Take garlic cloves and fry in cooking oil until brown. Remove garlic and save oil. Mix hamburger, cracker crumbs, and egg. Make into medium size meatballs. Fry in garlic oil until browned.

SAUCE: Take 1 large can whole tomatoes and crush into large pot. Put 3 cans of paste (3 cans of water to 1 can of paste) in with the whole tomatoes. Add meatballs to the sauce. Add 1 teaspoon oregano, salt, and pepper to taste and simmer for 3-4 hours until thickened. I like to add green peppers. You can also add pork chops. The sauce always taste better the second day.
