JUBILEE JUMBLES 
1/2 c. shortening, softened
1 c. brown sugar (light), packed
1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. undiluted evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts or raisins or combination

Mix thoroughly shortening, sugar, eggs. Stir in milk, vanilla.

Sift together flour, soda, salt and stir in mixture.

Blend in walnuts or raisins.

Chill 1 hour. Drop on greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees about 10 minutes until delicately brown.

While warm frost with Burnt Butter Frosting (glaze).

BURNT BUTTER GLAZE:

Heat 2 tablespoons butter until golden brown. Add 2 cups sifted confectioners sugar and 1/4 cup undiluted Carnation milk. Beat until smooth.
