YUMMY YAMS 
2 (17 oz.) cans sm. whole yams, drained
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 apple, cut into wedges
1/4 c. corn syrup
3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1/4 c. butter, melted

In shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish, arrange alternating rows of yams, lemon slices, and apple slices. In small bowl, combine corn syrup, brown sugar, and butter. Spoon over casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
