EGGLESS, MILKLESS, BUTTERLESS
CAKE
 
2 c. white sugar
2 c. water
2 heaping tbsp. lard
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. flour
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. cloves

Boil water, sugar, lard and raisins for five minutes. Cool. When cold, add remaining ingredients. Pour in 9x13 inch greased pan. Bake thirty (30) minutes at 350 degrees F. Frost with caramel icing.
