EASY DAY CASSEROLE 
2 lbs. beef stew meat
1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1/2 c. red wine or sherry
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 lemon, squeezed over meat
1 bag frozen mixed vegetables

Mix all ingredients in casserole. Cover and bake at 265 degrees for 3 hours. Add mushrooms, if desired, and a package of frozen mixed vegetables near the end of cooking time.
