MEAT & VEGETABLE CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 sm. onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
2 tbsp. bacon fat
Salt and pepper to taste
1 can drained corn
1 can drained peas
1 can drained carrots
1 sm. can tomato sauce
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. cornbread mix

Saute hamburger, onion, bell pepper, celery, salt and pepper in the bacon fat until the meat loses its pink color. Add the corn, peas, carrots, tomato sauce and mushroom soup. Mix well. Top with 1 package of cornbread mix (mixed). Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
