PEANUT BUTTER SUNDAE CAKE 
1 c. Gold Medal flour
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 3/4 c. hottest tap water
Favorite ice cream

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In ungreased square 9x9x2 inch pan, stir together flour, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix in milk, oil and vanilla with fork until smooth. Stir in peanut butter. Spread evenly in pan. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup brown sugar. Pour hot water over batter. Bake 40 minutes.

Let stand 15 minutes; spoon into dessert dishes or cut into squares. Invert each square onto dessert plate. Top with ice cream and spoon sauce over each serving. 9 servings.
