DELUXE HAMBURGER NOODLE BAKE 
1 1/2 - 2 lbs. hamburger or elk
1 (14 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. Italian seasoning or chili powder
8 oz. med. egg noodles
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 - 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 (18 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. pepper
8 oz. sour cream
1/4 c. sliced onion

Brown meat and garlic. Add the tomatoes, sugar, tomato sauce, pepper and Italian seasoning. Bring to boil and simmer, stirring occasionally. Cook noodles.

Combine sour cream, cream cheese and onion. Layer 1/2 of noodles in 12x7x2 pan. Spread 1/2 of cheese mixture and half of meat mixture. Repeat layer. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake uncovered until heated through and golden brown.
